1-He has the high abilityof the using the most efficient methods and knowledge resources involving current information and practical equipment regarding sociology and relevant disciplines 2-He examines and evaluates the concepts, ideas and data with social science research methods. He diagnoses and discusses the topics in past and future connections and presents a future projection. 3-He can express his experience in sociology and relevant disciplines orally and written and he presents report and research to institutions and people who needs them. 4-He has the ability of creative and critical thinking, interpretation, evaluation and synthesis using sociological methods.5-He can approach current sociological conceptualizations, movements and discussions from a critical point of view. 6-He knows well orientations and need in his field and recognizes sociocultural characteristics of the environment in which he lives; He plans, implements and manages teaching and learning processes suitable to these characteristics. 7-He takes responsibility in studies about his field and he solves the problems both by studying independently and by team work. 8-Heunderstands current studies in sociology by following currents research and he aims at having foreign language ability so that he can communicate with his colleagues. (“European Language Portfolio Global Scale”, Level B1).9-He has the knowledge of necessary software programs and statistics; uses information and communication technologies. He is very meticulous, in terms of ethical and scientific values, about the collection, analysis, interpretation and declaration of information which is the source of data in every study regarding the sociological field.11-He works on sociological knowledge with other social sciences on an interdisciplinary level in different cultures and societies and participates into interdisciplinary studies.He attempts to bring new openings to develop his knowledge in the field and is open to innovations. He can plan, project and implement the sociological analysis process of the questions he identified. He has the abilities of communication, technology use and working in coordination in business life.He can evaluate sociological theory and practice in its historical development.

Evaluation and assessment methods fore achcourseis described in detail in the Course Teaching Plan accordance with Batman University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.Students who successfully complete all the courses in sociology existing program (240 ECTS credits) and who have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 will have a bachelor’s degree.

Students who wish to register for the department must be managed the universitys academic and legal frame work of regulations to the process and exams who established by ÖSYM. The student who started in domestic or foreign equivalent can apply the program.The admission of students has some requirements. Each students degree requirements and the application are examined and evaluated. More comprehensive information about college admission is available in the Corporate Presentation Catalog. Students who come from abroad to take courses given in English with an agreement approved by the University and within the limits specified by student exchange programs. If the student is proficient in Turkish grammar, he can apply the course of any lesson in Turkish from Lesson Plan.

Graduates can givecourses in Sociology, Logic and Psychology in private and public schools whose are within the Ministry of National Education after the completion of post-graduateeducation. Students who completethe program successfully may apply master’s and doctoraldegrees in the field of sociology or other fields that accept students from this area.
