Bu programın hedefi; iki yıllık ön lisans dönemi sonunda, öğrencilerin bu dalda gerekli olan teknik bilgi ve beceriye sahip olmalarını sağlayarak, Makine Sektörünün hizmet kademelerinde, ihtiyaç duyulan nitelikli teknik eleman olarak yer edinmelerini sağlamaktır.
- Orta öğretimde kazanmış olduğu mesleki yeterlilikler üzerine uygulama ile desteklenen bir alanda bilgi/beceriye sahip olabilmeli.
- Makine ile ilgili edindiği kuramsal bilgiyi kullanabilir.
- Makine ile ilgili edindiği uygulama bilgilerini kullanabilir.
- Makine ile ilgili tanımı iyi yapılmış problemlerin çözümü için veri toplayabilir ve kullanabilir.
- Makine ile ilgili pratik uygulamalarda gereken teorik bilgileri, el ve/veya düşünsel becerileri kullanabilir.
- Makine teknolojisinin gerektirdiği düzeyde bilgisayar yazılımı ve bilişim-iletişim teknolojilerini kullanabilir.
- Makine teknolojisinde yeterli olacak düzeyde yabancı dil bilgisine sahip olabilmeli.
