- Bir dersten başarılı sayılabilmek için, o dersten yarıyıl sonu notu olarak; yüksek lisans öğrencisinin en azCB notu almış olması gerekir.

- -Öğrencilerin tezli yüksek lisans programına başvurabilmeleri için lisans diplomasına ve başvurduğu programın gerektirdiği puan türünde en az 55 ALES veya eşdeğer sınav puanına sahip olmaları gerekir. Ayrıca Yabancı Dil Sınavından en az 50 puan almış olması gerekir.
-Yüksek lisans programlarına başvuran adayların değerlendirilmesinde; adayın lisans GNO’su YÖK dönüşüm
tablosuna göre, yabancı dil puanı istenen programlarda yabancı dil puanı ise ÖSYM Yabancı Dil Sınavları Eşdeğerlik Tablosuna göre yüzlük sisteme çevrilir. Ayrıca, yazılı bilimsel değerlendirme ve/veya mülakat sınavı yapılır.
- Yabancı dil şartı istenen tezli yüksek lisans programlarında; ALES veya eşdeğer sınav puanının %50’si, Yabancı Dil Sınavı puanının %10’u, lisans GNO’sunun %15’i, yazılı olarak yapılacak bilimsel değerlendirme ve/veya mülakat sonucunun %25’i alınır.
-Giriş puanı 60 veya daha fazla olan adaylar puan sırasına göre yüksek lisans programlarına kontenjan dâhilinde kabul edilir. Kesin kayıtlar Enstitü tarafından yapılır.
-İnşaat mühendisliği bölümü mezunlarının çalışma alanı oldukça geniş olup; yapı mühendisliği, geoteknik mühendisliği, su mühendisliği, kıyı liman mühendisliği, ulaştırma mühendisliği,yapı malzemeleri mühendisliği ve yapım yönetimi alanlarında tasarımcı veya şantiyeci olarak çalışabilmektedir.
