- Sosyolog olarak görev alanında iletişim ve inisiyatif kullanabilme becerisini gösterebilme.
- Herhangi bir sosyal probleme ilişkin veri toplayabilme, verileri analiz edebilme ve yorumlayabilme.

Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri
- Öğrencinin kayıtlandığı bir dersin sınavına girebilmesi için o derse en az %70 oranında devam etmesi gerekir.
- Yarıyıl sınav notu; ara sınav notunun % 40’ı, final sınavının % 60’ı alınarak hesaplanır.
- Yüksek lisans öğrenim programı zorunlu, seçmeli derslerden, seminerden oluşur ve nihayetinde yüksek lisans tezinden oluşur.

Giriş Şartı
- Programa başvuru ve kabul koşulları her yıl Uşak Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü tarafından ilan edilir.
- Lisans mezunu olmak ve ALES sınavından son 3 yıl içerisinde enstitünün belirlediği taban puanı almak zorunludur.
Başarma Şartları
Yüksek lisans öğrenim programı zorunlu, seçmeli derslerden, seminerden oluşur ve nihayetinde yüksek lisans tezinden oluşur.
Öğrenci enstitü yönetmeliğinde belirtilen kredide dersi ve semineri başarı ile tamamlamış ve yönetmeliklerde belirtilen azami süreler içerisinde tez çalışmasını tamamlamalıdır.
