- Farklı alanlarda sosyal hizmete ihtiyaç duyan birey ve ailelerin, grupların, toplulukların ihtiyaç ve sorunlarını analiz etme becerisi olması.
- Farklı alanlarda sosyal hizmete ihtiyaç duyan birey ve ailelerin, grupların, toplulukların ihtiyaç ve sorunlarına yönelik uygun müdahaleler geliştirme bilgi ve becerisi olması.
- Çocuk, engelli, yaşlı, kadın, vb farklı ihtiyaç gruplarına ilişkin yürütülen politikaları eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirip, yeni politika önerileri geliştirebilme.
- Farklı ihtiyaç gruplarının ihtiyaç ve sorunlarının niteliğine yönelik sosyal hizmetin farklı mesleki müdahale düzeylerinde (birey ve aile, grup ve toplum düzeylerinde) uygulamalar gerçekleştirebilme.
- Çocuk, engelli, mülteci, genç, yaşlı, kadın, vb. sosyal hizmete ihtiyaç duyan bu gruplara ilişkin var olan uygulama ve hizmetlerde yaşanan güçlükleri görebilme ve bunlara ilişkin yeni düzenlemeler yapabilme bilgi ve becerisi kazanma.
- Sosyal hizmetin uygulama alanlarında uygulama ve hizmetlerde yaşanan güçlükleri görebilme ve bunlara sosyal hizmet yönetimi becerilerini kullanarak müdahalede bulunabilme.
