Programın temel amacı, kamu kurumları ve özel işletmeler için sosyal ilişkileri ve iletişimi güçlü, matematiksel işlemler ve mantıksal hesaplamalarda başarılı olan, detaylara odaklanabilen, güncel mevzuatı yakından takip edebilen ve temel idari bilgiye sahip olan mezunlar yetiştirmektir.
- Sosyal güvenlik alanının temel kavramlarını ve gelişim süreçlerini bilir.
- Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu ve Türkiye İş Kurumu taşra hizmet birimlerindeki memurların yaptığı hizmet ve işlemler hakkında bilgi ve beceri sahibi olur.
- Özel İşletmeler, kamu kurum ve kuruluşları, belediyeler ve kamu hizmeti veren diğer kuruluşlarda personel özlük işlemleri başta olmak üzere sosyal güvenlikle ilgili iş ve işlemleri yapar.
- Sosyal güvenlikle yakından ilgili işçi sağlığı-iş güvenliği, işçi hak ve sorumlulukları, sosyal hizmetler, maddi ve manevi bakım ile çevre koruma bilgisi ve bilincine sahip olur.
- Hukuki sorumluluklarını bilir, sosyal güvenlik mevzuatını takip eder.
