- Sosyal Bilgileri oluşturan disiplinler (tarih, coğrafya, sosyoloji vb.) ile ilgili temel bilgi ve becerilere sahip olmak.
- Sosyal bilgiler alanında bilimsel araştırma yöntemleri rehberliğinde bağımsız olarak araştırma yürütmek ve raporlaştırmasını yapmak.
- Sosyal Bilgiler öğretimine yönelik strateji, yöntem ve teknikleri etkili biçimde kullanmak.
