Hangi derslerin bu şekilde değerlendirileceği EADB’nin önerisi ile Mühendislik ve Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Enstitü Kurulunca belirlenir. Bir dersten başarılı sayılabilmek için, o dersten yarıyıl notu olarak yüksek lisans öğrencisinin en az (CC) alması gerekir. | Access Requirements | Students are accepted by evaluating the ALES score, determined by the Senate, and/or by regarding their undergraduate achievement level and/ or by evaluating the written scholastic assessment test and/ or by a letter of good conduct requested by the Head of Department of the Institute and/ or by evaluating an essay on why the candidate would like to have a graduate education and by regarding to an interview and the information and documents required by the Institute Department.The score of the ALES exam registers for 50% of the evaluation process. The distribution of the other 50% is determined by each of the Institute’s Head of Department itself. Errors in grading In the event any errors are found in the final term grades announced by the Registrars Office at the end of the semester, the student applies to the relevant Department of the Graduate School of Engineering and Sciences.Student’s demand for correction is agreed on by the Board of Institute of Engineering and Science upon the proposal of the relevant Department of the Graduate School of Engineering and Sciences. Errors discovered in grades for semester grades must be corrected, at the latest, within the registration period for the next semester. Repeating courses Students are to repeat the courses they have failed or take courses considered equivalent by the relevantDepartment of the Graduate School of Engineering and Sciences. Students can repeat courses thay have successfully completed to increase their CGPA. Term grades are finalized when submitted to Registrar’s Office, which also announces the final term grades.In order to be able to graduate from this program, students have to succeed in at least 7 credit courses with a minimum of 21 credits and to provide at least 120 ECTS credits. Students have to be successful at the seminar course, scientific research techniques, in the course of research and publication ethics and they have to be able to give in a successful thesis. They have to have a 3.00 grade point average out of 4.00 and they have to have at least a CC score from the courses.
Students are accepted by evaluating the ALES score, determined by the Senate, and/or by regarding their undergraduate achievement level and/ or by evaluating the written scholastic assessment test and/ or by a letter of good conduct requested by the Head of Department of the Institute and/ or by evaluating an essay on why the candidate would like to have a graduate education and by regarding to an interview and the information and documents required by the Institute Department.The score of the ALES exam registers for 50% of the evaluation process. The distribution of the other 50% is determined by each of the Institute’s Head of Department itself. The evaluation results are sent to the Graduate School of Engineering and Sciences by the Institute’s Head of Department and students are accepted to take part in the programs with the approval of the Institute’s Council.
