• Knows and applies the cutting, sewing techniques, ironing, quality control procedures necessary for ready-to-wear production.
• Design different products using imagination and design techniques and produce and market them in accordance with quality standards.
• Types of fiber, yarn and surface (woven, knitted and non-woven surface), production technologies and their usage areas.
• The materials and machines used in ready-to-wear clothing are used and planned.
• Explain the importance of standardization, quality and quality concepts, professional standards.
• Knows pre-finishing, dyeing and finishing processes of textile products.
• Can use at least one of the computer programs related to the lady.
• Can understand the business functions and the relationships among them, manage the problems that arise in the management of the enterprises and can work to increase the productivity.
• Has knowledge and awareness of social responsibility, ethical values and social security rights in matters related to fashion design field.
• Analyzes a garment according to aesthetic and technical values.
• Examines textile, clothing, fashion history and art movements.

For each course, the method of assessment and grading is defined "Course Information Form" in details.

Within the scope of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council (Y&Ouml;K), this program is based on the examination system established by the Student Selection and Placement Center (&Ouml;SYS). After the students report the program preferences they want to study, they are placed in the relevant programs by this center according to the puch they get from this exam. The graduates of the vocational high school related to the branch can register as a division without examination in the framework of the rules determined by Y&Ouml;K and &Ouml;SYS.<br /> Foreign students are accepted according to their international validity such as SAT, ACT, or secondary school graduation notes (Associate Degree and Undergraduate Programs Admission Guide for Foreign Students).<br /> Admission of students to the programs with the General Academic Exchange Protocol is based on bilateral agreements (such as ERASMUS, FARABI, etc.) signed between D&uuml;zce University and partner university. Guest students may enroll in courses offered in this program if they are approved by the relevant academic unit. The program will be trained in a language-aware condition.

Fashion Design Graduates Have the opportunity to work as textile technicians, fashion designers, modelists, stylists, customer representatives, unit managers in the production, product development, design, marketing and management departments in fashion workshops, textile and ready wear operations.
