The student is given a grade by the course instructor, based on the midterm examinations, final examinations, the semester’ s work and attendance. All grade averages are converted into two lettered scale- AA, BA, BB, etc. Courses which do not require midterm and / or final examinations are determined by the department concerned, and the Registrars Office is informed accordingly. Under these circumstances, the semester grade is given by evaluating the work done throughout the semester. In this case, the course and practical and / or laboratory sessions taken separately must fulfill “Lisans Eğitim ve Öğretim yönetmelikleri”GRADING SCHEME AND GRADE DISTRIBUTION GUIDANCE A student who receives a grade of (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), or (CC) in any course will be considered successful. Grades of (DC), (DD), (FF), (VF) will indicate failure.
