Students graduating from the program will in the near future be individuals who:

• Can work in production and R&D processes in various sectors of mechatronics, primarily automation, electronics, robotics, machine design and manufacturing,

• Can work in active positions in maintenance, repair and assembly operations of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical systems,

• Can perform quality control and tests of products in sectors operating in the field of mechatronics.

Education and training are provided in the form of formal education. In addition, practical training is provided in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or in industry, in workplaces as internships or vocational training in enterprises.

Has basic, current and applied information about his/her profession.

• Has knowledge about occupational health and safety, environmental awareness and quality processes.

• Follows current developments and applications for his/her profession and uses them effectively.

• Effectively uses information technologies (software, program, animation etc.) related to his/her profession.

•  Has the ability to evaluate professional problems and issues independently with an analytical and critical approach and present solution proposals.

• Can effectively present his/her thoughts in written and verbal communication at the level of knowledge and skills and express them in an understandable manner.

• Takes responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen complex problems encountered in applications related to his/her field.

• Has social, scientific, cultural and ethical values ​​in the stages of collecting, applying and announcing the results of data related to his/her field.

• Defines and applies basic concepts related to mechatronics.

• Defines and programs automation system elements.

• Recognizes machine elements, performs mathematical calculations and designs mechanical systems.

• Explains the elements of the hydraulic and pneumatic system and designs the system.

Whether students are successful in the courses they take is evaluated in two stages: at least one Midterm (Midterm Exam) and one Final (End of Term Exam). Students who fail as a result of the final grade or want to increase their grade can take a make-up exam.

• In addition to these, quizzes, projects, homework, research and other activities deemed appropriate by the instructor can be done. The number of these activities and their contribution to the success grade are specified by the instructor in the Student Information System (OBS) and the course plan.

• When calculating the student's success grade, the grade they receive is converted to a letter grade in the relative system. Manisa Celal Bayar University Relative Evaluation System Directive is applied regarding course success grades.

• In order for students to graduate, they must pass all courses, 30 ECTS in each term, for a total of 120 ECTS, and complete the Business Administration Vocational Training course. In addition to these conditions, the general academic grade point average (GANO) must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising the education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

• “University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports” of higher education institutions prepared within the framework of criteria determined by YÖK are published every year. The reports prepared according to these reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are also shared with the public by YÖK.

• YÖK publishes the “Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report” containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions every year. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance of associate degree programs in higher education is provided according to the “Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs”:

1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for opening associate degree departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of associate degree programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each diploma program will provide to students are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.3. The curriculum of National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: How to measure and evaluate the learning outcomes that each associate degree program will provide to students is carried out in accordance with the education and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

Self-Assessment-External Assessment: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the “Internal Institutional Assessment Reports” of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the “Institutional Feedback Report” prepared for the external assessment of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation institutions authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also show that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is provided. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with its legislation.

1. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Placement procedures for the relevant department are carried out centrally by ÖSYM by obtaining a sufficient score from the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center.

3. Students are accepted to the program by horizontal transfer from other schools in accordance with the relevant application conditions.

4. Students who meet the Double Major Program (ÇAP) criteria have the right to participate in double major programs opened by the higher education institutions they are studying. Students registered in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and receive two separate undergraduate diplomas if they are successful.

• Students who meet the Double Major Program (DMP) criteria have the right to participate in double major programs opened by the higher education institutions they are studying. Students enrolled in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and receive two separate associate degree diplomas if they are successful.

Those who have an associate degree can continue their undergraduate degree programs with the DGS exam.

Students who graduate from the mechatronics program can be employed in the machinery industry, electromechanical industry, and electronics and automation industry, and can work in machinery, electrical and electronics units in public institutions. They can work in the industrial automation, machinery and electronic systems design and production, maintenance and repair, and computer software and hardware areas of institutions.
