To have the basic conceptual information that will take into the consideration to basic economic problems within the framework of the public finance and economics theories and practical issues. To have full knowledge about research and planning for applying fiscal and monetary policies with the role of state in the economy. To have knowledge about the social research and planning with the field of public finance theory, public economics, public debt and public expenditures. To have abilities of using, commenting among disciplines, analysing the conceptual knowledges it has in public finance, economics, law and accounting fields and the desicions it takes. To use this knowledges in practise by having theorical and legal fund of knowledge as to taxation processes. To have the methods to be used in numerical and statistical researches. To have abilitiy of strategical approaching by predicting the results of desicions planning and completing required platform. To have conscious of fulfilling the duties and responsibilities assumed in both as individual and as a team member by exhibiting model behaviour to the society. To question and evaluate objectively knowledges it takes in bachelor degree of public finance education in the frame of cause and effect relationships. To carry the abilities of sharing knowledge learning together with a sense of lifelong learning and the concious of query. To have ability of identifying deficiencies in available knowledge and move to the next level related to the field which theoretical and practical issues, changes and innovations. Uses a foreign language at least European Language Portfolio B1 Overall Level to follow knows and developments gained knowledge and skills about field. To apply theoretical knowledge acquired in the learning process greatly needed by both public and private sector together with information and communication technologies in the European Computer User Licence Basic Level. To have competencies to critical thinking and written and oral expression on behalf of the social utility has the capabilities to take quick decisions with gained information under the program. To have development competencies to knowledge and practices which related to public finance and social science programs with an open attitude to change and innovation with social justice, cultural values and conscious of responsibility. Performs the researches in the process of access to scientific information which related to the field of within the framework of cultural, scientific and ethical values. To have accordance with the principles of learning and questioning what you know how to learn and graduate with the skills needed for academic or vocational training.

General admission requirements about Turkish and foreign students are being applied to start this programme.

Graduates of the department have a wide variety of employment opportunities for public and private sectors. They can employed in various public intitutions besides as an auditor, expert or inspector, governorship and administrative judge in senior positions. On the other hand they can employed in universities as research asistan tor lecturer positions so they working towards to academic career. In addition, various private financial institutions or the proffession of independent Accountants and Financial Advisers in the department of finance is another area or graduates can be employed.
