- Mühendislik, bilim ve matematik ilkelerini uygulayarak karmaşık mühendislik problemlerini tanımlar, formül halinde ifade eder ve çözer.
- Kamu sağlığı, güvenliği ve huzurunun yanı sıra küresel, kültürel, sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik faktöleri de hesaba katarak belirlenen gereksinimleri karşılayan çözümleri üretmek için mühendislik tasarımını kullanır.
- Belirli bir sayıdaki topluluk ile etkin bir şekilde iletişim kurar.
- Mühendislik çözümlerinin küresel, ekonomik, çevresel ve toplumsal bağlamdaki etkilerini hesaba katarak bilinçli kararlar alır ve mühendislik durumlarında etik ve profesyonel sorumluluklarını bilir.
