In order to get pre-Bsc degree at Laborant and Veterinary Health Program, the total of compulsory and elective hours of the lessons must be the equivalent of 120 ECTS and fully succeeded . The cumulative grade point average must be at least 2.0 out 4.00.In order to complete a program successfully, students must pass all the courses included in the program with 120 AKTS , which is equal to ,at least, an accumulative grade point average of 2.0 out of 4.00

Ensures regular operation of laboratory equipment and uses it effectively. The laboratory practices hygiene and safety consciously. Microbiological, biochemical, parasitological, pathological samples and feed samples are taken and applied the necessary tests. It implements hygiene, care and health services as an assistant veterinarian in animal hospitals, private veterinary clinics and farms. It implements measures to prevent epidemics, infectious and zoonotic diseases.It determines the timing of animal mating and follows the pregnancy and birth process by performing vigorous insemination with the responsibility of the veterinarian.It brings the efficiency of the operator to the highest level by providing the necessities of animal welfare. Protective precautions are taken in important matters of the offspring, fertility, breast and foot health, and the veterinarian informs them on time.It ensures proper care and feeding of animals.It applies the treatment protocols recommended by the veterinarian. It uses veterinary health screening and laboratory recording and archiving system. Conducts team work with professional and social ethical values and scientific formation.

It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications should be continued in order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to enter the final exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm and a final exam for each course. The grade of success is 40%, the contribution of the final exam is 60%, and the midterm exam (grades obtained from measurement instruments such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz etc. can be taken as an intermediate exam grade). All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to take at least 50 points from the final exam. Students who take one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are deemed to have completed that course. DD notu conditional successful note. Candidates must have a high school and a balanced school diploma and must have earned enough points from the University Student Selection Examination (YGS2).

Graduate students can be employed as Veterinary and Laboratory Assistant ; in Livestock Farms , Animal Hospitals, Veterinary Special Clinics , General Directorate of Agriculture Enterprise, Agriculture Ministry of Province and County, Feed factories, Veterinary Laboratories , Zoo, Veterinary Drug Company, Veterinary Health and Care Product Company .
