Program dört yarıyıldan oluşmakta, tezli veya tezsiz olarak tamamlanabilmektedir. Öğrencilerin tezli programdan mezun olabilmesi için 38 kredi saatlik ders yükünü, kredisiz bir seminer dersini, uygulamaya yönelik stajlarını ve yüksek lisans tezlerini başarıyla tamamlamış olmaları gerekmektedir (120AKTS).
- Alanındaki yerleşik kuram ve yaklaşımların yanı sıra güncel kuramsal gelişmeleri de bilmek.
- Alanıyla ilgili kuramsal bilgileri derinlemesine irdeleme ve uygulamadaki yansımalarını değerlendirme becerisine sahip olmak.
- Alanıyla ilgili yerli ve yabancı bilgi/veri kaynaklarını etkin biçimde kullanarak ayrıntılı literatür taramaları gerçekleştirebilmek.
- Alanındaki bilgi ve uygulama eksikliklerini saptamak ve bunları giderme yönünde bilimsel ölçütlere uygun çalışmalar tasarlayabilmek.
- Alanı ile ilgili en az bir bilimsel makale ya da bildiriyi bireysel çalışma ya da ekip çalışması yoluyla hazırlayıp yayınlayarak/sunarak alanındaki bilginin sınırlarını genişletebilmek.
- Alanına ilişkin bilgileri, ilgili kişilere kuram ve uygulama esasları üzerinden sunma becerisine sahip olmak.
