To gain knowledge and experience in the field of graduate theoretical and practical chemistry. To acquire skills of chemical reasoning, idea executing and problem solving with issues related to chemistry.To earn life-long learning attitudes and skills. To reach the conclusion fast and accurately by using the ability of analytical thinking.To gain the ability to form an inter-disciplinary team work in order to solve a problem. To be able to follow the ability to access to information and self-learning.To follow developments closely in information and technology and to renew continuously itself with the MSc field of chemistry. To gain the ability to develop new and original ideas and methods; to gain the ability to win new system designs. To acquire knowledge and experience the chemical analyses with modern devices. Communicates with colleagues at an advanced level written, oral or visual by using a foreign language with an at least level B2 General Level of European Language Portfolio level. To improve the skillful in experimental setup establishing, data collecting and finding solutions that arise during any of those stages. To improve the knowledge and skillful in evaluating and interpreting the data obtained from the laboratory measurements and observations. To gain the ability of working as a team member with as an individual feature. To improve the feature of knowledge importing from which they have learned in the field of chemistry to the industry.Trails computer software, informatics and communication technologies as if required level in the field, uses it effectively on the researches to solve the problems.

Attendance to at least 70% of the theoretical courses and 80 % of is mandatory to enter final exams. Mid-term contribution is 40% and final exam contribution is 60% for theoretical courses, while mid-term contribution is 60% and final exam contribution is 40% for practical courses. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Student should take at least 70 in final exam. Every student is obliged to make registration for each term.The programme consists of a minimum of seven courses, one seminar course, and thesis, with a minimum of 21 local credits and 90 ECTS. The seminar course and thesis are non-credit and graded on a pass/fail basis. The studentscan start their thesis only if they complete their courses and seminar.The minimum and maximum period to complete master program are 3 and 6 semesters, respectively. A student who has completed courses and seminar successfully can finish thesis study and take thesis finishing exam after third semester at earliest. The conditions for application to the postgraduate programmes and evaluationa)In order for the candidates to apply for the postgraduate MSc programmes, they must have1) a bachelor’s degree,2) YDS score of minimum 45 or equivalent score in one of the foreign language exams whose equivalency are recognised by Interuniversity Board. Candidates having no such score are accepted the programme conditionally. However, they are evaluated as their foreign language score are zero and they have to get this score until thesis stage, otherwise they cannot start their thesis. 3) an ALES exam or another equivalent score.b) Principles of Evaluation for Master programme are as follows:1) Applicants’ success grades are calculated by adding 70% of their ALES (Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) score, 20 % of their BSc degree GPA (General Point Average) and if they have 10 % of their Foreign Language Exam score, beginning with those who get the highest total success grade depending on the quotas of the programmes. In case of equality, the one havinghigherALESscore,if equality continues, the one having higher GPA is given priority.
