| Giriş Şartı | Yüksek lisans programlarına alınacak öğrenci sayıları ve aday öğrencilerde aranacak nitelikler, her yarıyıl başından önce ilan edilir. Bu ilanda başvuru koşulları ve son başvuru tarihi, adayların mülakata alınacakları yer ve tarih belirtilir. Adayların lisans diplomasına sahip olması ve Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) tarafından merkezi olarak yapılan ALES’den ilgili puan türünde en az 55 standart puan veya Graduate Record Examination (GRE) veya Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) sınavından 55 ALES puanına eşdeğer bir puana sahip olmaları gerekir. Yurtdışından alınmış lisans diplomalarının denkliğinin Yükseköğretim Kurulunca (YÖK) onaylanması gerekir. Adaylar; ilanda belirtilen son başvuru tarihine kadar ALES belgelerini, lisans diplomalarını, lisans kademesinde okudukları derslerden aldıkları başarı notlarını, mezuniyet not ortalamalarını belirten onaylı belgeleri, diğer kayıt ile ilgili bilgileri doldururlar ve internet kayıt ortamında sağladıkları aday numarası ile birlikte enstitü müdürlüğüne başvuruda bulunurlar. Adayların kayıt işlemleri ilgili enstitü müdürlüğünce düzenlenir ve yürütülür. Bir adayın bilimsel başarı düzeyi notu; ALES puanının %50’si, lisans kademesi not ortalamasının %40’i ve dil notunun %10’inin toplamıdır. Adayların mülakat başarı notunun da en az 60 olması gerekir. | |
| Başarma Şartları | Program toplam 24 krediden az olmamak koşuluyla en az 8 adet ders, ve bir adet tez çalışmasından oluşur. Yüksek lisans öğrenim programı zorunlu ve seçmeli derslerden oluşur. Programın toplam AKTS kredisi 90'dir. Arasınav ve final sınavlarının yanı sıra derslerde raporlar, ödevler, quizler, seminer sunumları ve proje çalışmaları gibi öğrenme aktiviteleri öğrencinin yarıyıl içindeki performans değerlendirmesinde kullanılabilir. Öğrencinin ilgili dersten başarılı sayılabilmesi için bu notun en az 100 üzerinden 68 olması gerekir. Tez çalışması kredi sistemine göre kredisiz olup başarılı veya başarısız olarak değerlendirilir. Öğrenci, en geç üçüncü yarıyılın başından itibaren her yarıyıl tez çalışmasına kayıt yaptırmak zorundadır. Programındaki bir öğrenci tez çalışması ile ilgili elde ettiği sonuçları, ilgili enstitünün tez yazım kurallarına uygun biçimde yazmak ve jüri önünde sözlü olarak savunmak zorundadır. The assessment for admission to masters programs is based on : 50% of ALES, 40% of academic success in the undergraduate programme (cumulative grade point average (CGPA) ) and 10% of Language score. The candidates having an assessed score of 60 at least are accepted into the Master's programme. The results of the evaluation are announced by the Directorate of Graduate School. | |
| Conditions for Success | The programme consists of a minimum of 8 courses delivered within the graduate programme of the department and in related fields, one seminar course, and thesis, with a minimum of 24 local credits. The seminar course and thesis are non-credit and graded on a pass/fail basis. The duration of the programme is four semesters. The maximum period to complete course work in a masters program with thesis is 4 semesters. However, with the approval of their advisors, students can in subsequent semesters take additional departmental courses with or without credits. The total ECTS credits of the programme is 90 ECTS. For the assessment of a students success in a semester midterms, finals together with reports, homeworks, quizes ansd seminar studies are used. For a student to pass a couse he/she should get at least 68 over 100. Students must register for thesis work and the Specialization Field course offered by his supervisor every semester following the semester, in which the supervisor is appointed. A student who has completed work on the thesis within the time period, must write a thesis, using the data collected, according to the specifications of the Graduate School Thesis Writing Guide. The thesis must be defended in front of a jury. The Master's thesis jury is appointed on the recommendations of the relevant Department Chairperson and with the approval of the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School. Of the appointed jury members, up to one may be selected from another Department or another University. A majority vote by the jury members determines the outcome of the thesis or examination.
