The duration of education in the Department of Business Administration is 8 semesters. This education aims to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills in the fields of planning, managing and supervising in order to increase efficiency in all areas of businesses and organizations.

Program Objectives:

- Students can take part in national and international institutions and organizations related to the operation, development and improvement of a system using strategic and tactical methods.

- With his/her knowledge, ethical values and leadership qualities, he/she can take part in management and organization, production management and marketing, accounting and finance units of institutions and organizations and become a manager.

- In Hitit University's specialization area of Machinery and Manufacturing Technologies, they can work in businesses related to the effective use of financial and human resources and communication technologies and digital transformation components.

- They can become entrepreneurs by developing sustainable business models with innovative thinking in accordance with the requirements of the age.

- They can continue their academic, professional and personal development independently with an understanding of social responsibility and continuous learning.

Education and training is carried out in the form of formal education. In addition, students can apply to the national internship program or do optional internships in the private sector depending on their own preferences. Students who wish to do an optional internship are given the permission documents requested by the companies with an official letter.

In line with the student-centered education approach, students are evaluated using alternative assessment and evaluation tools and methods that show their progress during the course and their achievement of the outcomes/outcomes at the end of the course. In the measurement and evaluation processes, a competency-based approach has been adopted along with a student-centered approach. Measurement and evaluation processes are carried out in accordance with the Hitit University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, Hitit University Distance Education and Examinations Regulation / Directive on the Procedures and Principles for Conducting Courses and Conducting Examinations.

The student's success status for a course is determined by the course success grade. The principles of calculating the success grade according to the absolute and / or relative evaluation system and the grading system principles of the exams applied at the University are regulated by the Senate.

In the calculation of the success grades, the letter grades and coefficients specified below are used.

As of the 2024-2025 academic year, in accordance with the decision of the University Senate dated 25.09.2024 and numbered 2024/132, measurement and evaluation in line with student-centered education and training in our faculty is diversified and spread over the semester.

Quality-based process management has been carried out in our faculty since 2018. In this context, the accreditation application made on 06/02/2024 was evaluated by the Social Humanities Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association on April 2, 2025 and our curriculum was awarded a 3-year National Accreditation certificate.

Registration, admission, examination and evaluation procedures of students are carried out in accordance with the Higher Education Law and the decisions and regulations of the Council of Higher Education issued on the basis of this law. At Hitit University, registration and admission procedures are carried out by the Student Affairs Department, and information on regulations and directives can be found at http://oidb.hitit.edu.tr/. A two-stage examination system is applied in the transition from high school education to higher education. The exams are conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Detailed information about the exams can be found at http:www.osym.gov.tr. The first stage of the examination system is a single and common examination called the Higher Education Transition Examination (YGS). The Higher Education Transition Examination is an exam that measures the qualification for transition to higher education for those who have successfully completed high school education and want to study higher education. Regulations, directives and senate decisions regarding international (foreign nationals), horizontal transfer and student admission are applied in the admission of students other than the student groups coming with central placement. Graduates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can apply to second and third level (master's and doctorate) programs in national and international higher education institutions, provided that they meet the requirements of the higher education institution and program to which they will apply. Graduates can work in national and international institutions and organizations and can be managers in production, management, marketing, finance, accounting and human resources departments of these organizations.
