• Graduates could use the four language skills effectively for communication and utilise innovative tools to develop their language skills.
• Graduates keep up with modern approaches, methods and scientific developments and share them with their colleagues and students. Graduates know the theoretical aspects of pedagogy and they put into practice this knowledge as much as possible and take clearcut steps to bridge the possible gap between theory and practice.
• Graduates are familiar with local and universal elements of culture that are an essential part of foreign language teaching, and they use them in materials development.
• Graduates take into account developmental characteristics of learners and their individual differences and the features of the field in every phase of education and they shape instructional activities in line with them.
• Graduates aim to incorporate critical thinking, creative thinking and problem solving into daily instruction and use methods and techniques that are essential for this.
• Graduates not only help their students learn by using both traditional and alternative testing and evaluation methods and but they also monitor their development.
• Graduates know scientific methods and techniques of inquiry and they use these to solve the problems that they encounter.
• Graduates express their thoughts about the field of English language teaching efficiently and share them with their colleagues, authorities and the scientific community.
• Graduates know their professional rights and responsibilities and they behave in line with regulations and scientific and ethical codes. Graduates use information and communication technologies efficiently to develop themselves, in planning instruction, during instruction and evaluation; they use every opportunity to develop themselves in this regard.

• A variety of assessment methods such as mid-term(s), assignment(s), exercise(s), project(s), practice(s), and a final exam are implemented in the programme.
• Assessment methods may include classical test(s), multiple-choice test(s), homework(s), performance evaluation(s), and product evaluation(s). In order to graduate from the programme, cumulative GPA must be minimum 2.00. A course grade is constituted by evaluating the above stated elements and given by using letters
• A student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses meet a minimum of 240 ECTS credit requirement and have a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no FF and DZ grades.

A student is required to have a minumum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades

Graduates of the program can be employed as English teachers by state schools, universities and private educational institutions.
