Öğrencinin derslerdeki başarısı, dönem içi notları ile dönem sonu sınav notunun birlikte değerlendirilmesi ile belirlenmektedir. Dönem içi notları, quiz, ara sınav notu ve derse bağlı olarak ödevlere, uygulamalara, pratik çalışmalara verilen notlardan oluşmaktadır. Son değerlendirme, o dersi alan tüm öğrencilerin genel başarı düzeyi de göz önüne alınarak, dersi veren öğretim elemanı tarafından aşağıdaki harf notlarından birisi ile belirlenmektedir. | Kalite Güvencesi | Yükseköğretim programlarının niteliğinin gözetilmesi için; · YÖK, yükseköğretim kurumlarında gerçekleştirilen eğitim ve öğretimle diğer faaliyetlerin planlanması, düzenlenmesi, yönetilmesi ve denetiminden sorumludur. ·YÖK tarafından belirlenen kriterler çerçevesinde her yıl hazırlanan yükseköğretim kurumlarına ait “Üniversite İzleme ve Değerlendirme Raporları” yayımlanır. - Ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemleri; sınav çeşitleri ve bunların ders başarı notuna katkısı, bu konularda Yükseköğretim Kurulu’nun (YÖK) belirlediği temel ilkelere uygun olarak Başkent Üniversitesi senatosu tarafından belirlenmektedir.
- Ölçme ve değerlendirmede ödev, proje, uygulama, ara sınav ve dönem sonu sınavı gibi farklı yöntemler kullanılmaktadır.
- Öğrenci başarısının değerlendirilmesinde harf ve/veya rakama dayalı not verme sistemleri kullanılmaktadır.

Başkent Üniversitesi İlk ve Acil Yardım Programı Kalite Geliştirme/ İyileştirme Süreci
- Anahtar performans göstergeleri her dönem değerlendirilmektedir. Bu bağlamda; mezuniyet oranı göstergeleri, mezunların istihdam oranı, klinik uygulama ve staj değerlendirme formu puanları, öğrenci memnuniyet anketi sonuçları, mezun memnuniyet anketi sonuçları, akademisyen ve ders değerlendirme sonuçları, iç ve dış paydaşlardan gelen geri bildirimler değerlendirilmektedir. Belirtilen dökümanlar kamuoyuna açık şekilde web sayfasında paylaşılmaktadır.
- Başkent Üniversitesi’nin stratejik alanı bilimsel üretim, öğrenmeyi mükemmelleştirmek, toplumun gereksinimlerine yanıt vermek biçiminde tanımlanmaktadır. İlk ve Acil Yardım Programı’nın da strajik alanı ve her yıl belirlediği performans hedefleri üniversiteyle paralel şekilde gerçekleştirilmektedir.
- Her yıl bir önceki yıla ait Özdeğerlendirme Raporu yazılarak programın işleyişi ve süreçteki gelişimin objektif olarak değerlendirilmesi sağlanmaktadır. Öz değerlendirme raporu web sayfasında kamuoyuna açık şekilde paylaşılmaktadır.
- Programın kalite sürecinin geliştirilmesi için her yıl TSE performans hedef belirlenmektedir. Belirlenen hedefler için Hedef Takip Planı oluşturulmaktadır. Gerçekleştirilemeyen hedefler için Düzenleyici Önleyici Faaliyet gerçekleştirilmektedir.
- İlk ve Acil Yardım programı öğrencilerinin ders kazanımlarını ve program çıktılarını karşılama düzeyleri dönemlik olarak takip edilmektedir. Belirlenen hedefin altında kaldığında önlem alınması sağlanmaktadır.
- İlk ve Acil Yardım Programı, Mesleki Eğitim Değerlendirme ve Akreditasyon Derneği ( MEDEK) tarafından 01.01.2025-31.12.2028 tarihleri arasında geçerli olmak üzere 4 yıl süreli tam akreditasyon almıştır.

- Ön lisans öğrencileri, eğitim almakta oldukları yükseköğretim kurumlarının açtıkları çift anadal programlarına katılma hakkına sahiptir. Çift anadal programlarına kayıtlı öğrenciler, iki diploma programından eş zamanlı olarak ders alıp, başarılı olmaları halinde iki ayrı lisans diploması alabilirler.
- Ön lisans diplomasına sahip olanlar, DGS sınavı ile lisans derecesi programlarına devam edebilirler.

| Further Info | - Measurement and evaluation methods; exam types and their contribution to the course grade are determined by the Başkent University senate in accordance with the basic principles determined by the Higher Education Council (YÖK). - Different methods such as homework, project, application, midterm and final exams are used in measurement and evaluation. - Letter and/or numeric grading systems are used to evaluate student success. - The measurement and evaluation system of each course is explained on the course description page of the relevant course in Başkent University Information Management System (IMS). The student's success in the courses is determined by evaluating the mid-term grades and the final exam grade together. Mid-term grades consist of quizzes, mid-term exam grades and grades given to homework, applications, practical work depending on the course. | Quality Assurance | In order to monitor the quality of higher education programmes; - CoHE is responsible for the planning, organisation, management and supervision of education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions. -‘University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports’ of higher education institutions prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by CoHE are published. Reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are also shared with the public by YÖK. - Every year, YÖK publishes the ‘Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report’, which includes academic, administrative and financial data on foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance of associate degree programmes in higher education is ensured according to the ‘Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programmes’: 1. Creation and Approval of Curricula: 1.1. The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of principles and programmes in higher education institutions. 1.2. Certification: Students enrolled in associate degree programmes receive an associate degree diploma if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, in the context of continuous monitoring, enter the ‘Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports’ of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the ‘Institutional Feedback Report’ prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions given by accreditation bodies authorised or recognised by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programmes is ensured. It carries out regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with YÖKAK legislation. Başkent University First and Emergency Aid Programme Quality Development / Improvement Process - Key performance indicators are evaluated every semester. In this context; graduation rate indicators, graduates' employment rate, clinical practice and internship evaluation form scores, student satisfaction survey results, graduate satisfaction survey results, academician and course evaluation results, feedback from internal and external stakeholders are evaluated. These documents are publicly available on the web page. - The strategic area of Başkent University is defined as scientific production, perfecting learning and responding to the needs of society. The strategic area and the performance targets set by the First and Emergency Aid Programme each year are carried out in parallel with the university. - Every year, a Self-Evaluation Report for the previous year is written to objectively evaluate the functioning of the programme and the development in the process. | Access Requirements | 1. To graduate from secondary education institutions or foreign secondary education institutions whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education and to meet the admission requirements for associate degree programmes of higher education institutions. 2. To be placed in the relevant associate degree programme of the higher education institution as a result of the central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM), the procedures and principles of which are determined by YÖK. 3. To have obtained sufficient points as a result of the central exam conducted by ÖSYM for the programmes that accept students with special talent exam in higher education institutions, the procedures and principles of which are determined by YÖK, and to have succeeded in the special talent exam. | |
| Conditions for Success | In order to graduate from this programme, students are required to have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 in all courses specified in the curriculum and to take 120 ECTS credits. Students are required to complete their internships in the specified period and characteristics. | |

- Associate degree students have the right to participate in double major programmes offered by the higher education institutions where they are studying. Students enrolled in double major programmes can take courses from two diploma programmes simultaneously and if they are successful, they can receive two separate undergraduate diplomas.
- Those who have an associate degree can continue their undergraduate degree programmes with the DGS exam.
