- İktisat olayların oluşumunun analiz edilmesi ve iktisadi hayat içindeki yeri ve öneminin görülmesiİktisadi olguları oluşturan başlıca içsel ve dışsal koşulların kavranması

- Öğrencilere temel makro ve mikro iktisadi olaylar ve kuruluşlar hakkında iyi derecede teorik bilgi vermek ve görüş sahibi olmalarını sağlamak
- Ülke ve dünya kaynaklarının en etkin kullanımını sağlamak için izlenmesi gereken politikaları tespit ve analiz becerisini kazanmak
