INFORMATION 1. To explain concepts and institutions related to different disciplines of law and to have knowledge to establish relations between these concepts and institutions. 2. In the Faculty of Law, courses are conducted on a yearly basis rather than on a semester basis. At the end of the fall semester, one midterm exam is held in the academic year; At the end of the Spring Semester, the final (year-end) examinations are given. Students who are unsuccessful in the final exam or who want to raise the grade are entitled to take the makeup exam. The effect of midterm passing score can be determined between 30% and 40%. The Semester or Annual Grade Point Average is calculated through the division of the total credit points obtained from all the courses the student has taken in the concerned semester by the total credit values of those courses.The Grade Point Averages obtained in these calculations are expressed by rounding them off to the second digit after the comma. In rounding the numbers off, the second digit after comma decreases to 0 if the third digit is smaller than 5, but it rounds to two digits if the third digit is 5 or greater.The Cumulative Grade Point Average is calculated through the division of the total credit points obtained from all the courses the student has taken in the semester concerned inclusive, by the total credit values of those courses.While calculating, the last score obtained from repeated lessons are considered.Students must receive a passing grade in a course to be considered successful. Grades A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C are passing grades.To regarde a student as succesfull who gets grade either C- or D+, his or her GPA is equal or higher then 2.00. In this caes, the students whose GPA are less then 2,00 are considered unsuccesfull from these lessons. However, to regarde a forth class student’s C- or D+ grades as succesfull, it is enough his or her GPA is equal or higher then 2,00.The board of Faculty can decide to apply relative evulation system. While apllying this system the criterias written bellow are complied:a) Score interval is fewer then 40, the grade must be FF. Score interval is fewer then 85, grade AA can not be given.b) The instructer decides the lower bound of score interval for each grade by considering renge of score intervals and the differances between the scores. KTO Karatay University Faculty of Law accepts students according to the results of Undergraduate Placement Exam conducted by ÖSYM. KTO Karatay University Faculty of Law registered 169 students with the lowest score of 381,694 and highest score of 431,445 from the TM-3 score type in the academic year of 2017-2018.

Graduates of the law faculty have wide opportunities in terms of job opportunities. Graduates of law faculties can work primarily as lawyers, judges, prosecutors, academics and notaries. Besides these, they can work as experts, inspectors / auditors, legal advisors in public institutions and organizations, as consultants in banks and financial institutions; They can be district governors and governors.
