| Giriş Şartı | Yükseköğretim Kurumu (YÖK) tarafından belirlenen yönetmelikler çerçevesinde, bu programa öğrenci kabulü Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) tarafından yapılan sistem ile olmaktadır. Öğrenciler, öğrenim görmek istedikleri program tercihlerini bildirdikten sonra, bu sınavdan aldıkları puana göre bu merkez tarafından ilgili programlara yerleştirilmektedir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler, bu programa uluslararası geçerliliği olan SAT, ACT gibi sınav sonuçlarıyla ya da ortaöğretim mezuniyet notlarına göre kabul edilmektedir (Önlisans ve Lisans Programları Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenci Kabul Yönergesi). Genel Akademik Değişim Protokolü olan programlara öğrencilerin kabulü, Maltepe Üniversitesi ile işbirliği yapılan (partner) üniversite arasında imzalanan ikili anlaşmalar (ERASMUS, FARABİ, vb. gibi.) çerçevesinde yapılmaktadır. - Hukuk fakültesi lisans programının amacı; hukukî ihtilafları çözümleyebilen ve bunlara adaletli çözümler getirebilen, milletlerarası düzeyde pozitif hukuk ve içtihat alanındaki gelişmeleri takip edebilen, toplumun sorunlarına sağ duyu ile bakarak hukuki çözümler getirebilen, eleştirel bir bakış açısına sahip, etik değerlerini gözeten ve özellikle mesleki etik değerlerine bağlı hukukçuları; adliyelerde, hakim, savcı veya avukat olarak, üniversitelerde öğretim elemanı olarak, ticari işletmelerde hukuki danışman olarak, kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarında uzman olarak çalışabilecek bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlikler ile donatmaktır.

- The purpose of the faculty of law graduate programme is to have its students solve judicial conflicts in an equitable way, follow international developments in legislation and case law, bring judicial solutions to social problems with common sense, have a critical point of view, observe ethical values, especially professional ethics.
- The programme aims to equip the students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies, so that they can work at courts, as judges, prosecutors, or as lawyers, at universities as lecturers, at commercial enterprises as legal consultants, at public agencies and institutions as law specialist.
