ÖSYM bütün başvuruları alır ve başvuruları puan türüne göre gruplar. Puanları en yüksekten en düşüğe doğru sıralar. Tercih edilen puan türüne göre bütün mevcut programları listeler ve öğrencileri tercih ettikleri programlardan birine yerleştirir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin kabulü YÖK ve senato kararına göre yapılır.
