- Havacılık kapsamında lisans düzeyi yeterliliklerine dayalı olarak, aynı alanda veya ilgili yan alanlarda bilgilerini uzmanlık düzeyinde geliştirir ve derinleştirir.
- Alanında yeni ve gelişmekte olan uygulamaları hakkında farkındalığa sahip olur; gerektiğinde bunları inceler ve öğrenir.
- Alanının doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak ilişkili olduğu disiplinler arası (sosyal-ekonomi, işletme, hukuk, ilgili mühendislik dalları vb.) etkileşimi kuramsal olarak kavrar, etkili ve verimli bir şekilde uygulama becerisini sahip olur.
- Yeni ve/veya özgün fikir ve yöntemler geliştirir; sistem, parça veya süreç tasarımlarında yenilikçi çözümler geliştirir.
- Analitik, modelleme ve deneysel esaslı araştırmaları tasarlar ve uygular; bu süreçte karşılaşılan karmaşık durumları çözümler ve yorumlar.
- Sivil havacılık alanında karşılaşılan ve öngörülemeyen karmaşık sorunların çözümü için yeni stratejik yaklaşımlar geliştirir ve sorumluluk alarak çözüm üretir.
- Çalışmalarının süreç ve sonuçlarını, o alanındaki çalışmalarının gelişim ve sonuçlarını ulusal ve uluslararası ortamlarda sistematik bir yaklaşımla yazılı veya sözlü olarak iletir.
- Disiplinler arası etkileşimi kavrar, etkili ve verimli bir şekilde uygular.
- Sivil havacılıkta uygulanan güncel teknik ve yöntemler ile bunların kısıtlılıkları hakkında kapsamlı bilgiye ulaşarak kullanımda verim ve etkinlik sağlar.
- Bilgi işleme becerileriyle yeni bilgi oluşturup, uygulama – kontrol – geribildirim ve değerlendirme becerileri geliştirir.
