- Mesleki matematiksel işlemlerin, geometrik şekillerin ve mesleki temel problemlerin çözümünü yapar.
- Temel bilgisayar kullanımı yanında, mesleki problemlerin algoritmalarını ve basit programlarını yazar.
- Haritacılık mesleğinde uzaktan algılama ve fotogrametrik yöntemle harita üretme tekniklerini bilir.
- Harita ve proje bilgilerinin araziye uygulamanması işlemlerini gerçekleştirir.
- Kadastro mevuatını bilir ve gerekli uygulamalarını yapar.
- Kentsel ve kırsal alan düzenleme ve arazi kullanım yasalarının uygulamalarını yapar.
Mezun öğrencilerimiz harita üretimi yapan/yaptıran kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarında, mevcut sayısal ve grafik harita bilgilerini kullanarak kamu hizmetlerini gerçekleştiren kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarında, her türlü mühendislik amaçlı çalışmada yer alan özel sektör firmalarında, konum bilgisine dayalı bilgi sistemlerinin oluşturulması alanında çalışan firmalarda ve konum bilgilerini düzenlemeye yönelik yazılım geliştiren firmalarda çalışabilmektedir.

The success of a course is determined by the course grade. The course grade is obtained by evaluating the student's achievement during the semester (mid-term exams, assignments, applied studies, etc.) and the general examination. The overall score of the general examination may be at least 40% and at most 60%. The achievement grade for the course and the final grade of the general examination and the lesson to be taken in the general examination for the success of the student are announced to the students at the beginning of the semester by the course instructor. However, with the right to pass without examination, the relevant departments of the vocational high school can also be transferred. Candidates who have the right to register to Bayburt University shall make a definite registration by proxy in person or by notary public within the period determined and announced by the Higher Education Institutions, Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and the Rectorate.
