Diyaliz tedavisi gerektiren hastalıklarda, hastanın diyaliz makinesine alınması, takibi ve tedavisi, diyaliz işlemlerinin sonlandırılması, diyaliz makinesinin bakımının yapılmasının yanında hasta ve yakınlarının diyaliz tedavisi konusunda bilgilendirilmesi aşamalarında görev alacak hasta haklarına saygılı ve mesleki etik değerleri ön planda tutan, sağlık teknikeri yetiştirmektir.
Tam burslu eğitim sağlamaktadır.
- Temel sağlık bilgisini öğrenir.
- Diyaliz hastalarının tedavisini güvenli bir şekilde başlatır ve sonlandırır.
- Hemodiyaliz cihazını tedavi öncesi hazır hale getirir ve çalışma prensiplerini iyi bilir.
- Hemodiyaliz esnasında gelişebilecek komplikasyonları ve cihaz alarmlarını iyi bilir, gereken müdahalede bulunur.
- Su arıtma sisteminin amacını, çalışma prensibini ve oluşabilecek arızalarını bilir.
- A-V fistül çalışma prensibini bilir ve hemodiyaliz hastalarına A-V fistül bakımını yapar.
- Periton diyalizi uygulamasını yapar, komplikasyonlarına müdahale eder.
- Hemodiayaliz merkezinde bulunan medikal cihazların kullanımını bilir.
- Diyaliz hastasına uygulanacak ilaçların etkilerini bilir ve güvenli bir şekilde uygular.
- Diyaliz hastalarına tedavisi ile ilgili gerekli bilgileri verir ve hastalara psikolojik destek verir.
- Hastalarla iyi iletişim kurar ve çalışma arkadaşları ile uyum içerisinde çalışır.
Diyaliz teknikerleri, herhangi bir sertifikasyona gerek olmadan, özel ve kamu kurumlarına bağlı hastanelerde ve diyaliz ünitelerinde çalışabilirler.

- Initiates and terminates safely treatment of dialysis patients.
- Makes ready hemodialysis device for treatment and knows the working principles well.
- Knows the complications and device alarms develop during hemodialysis, it is found in the intervention required.
- Know the purpose, working principle and possible faults of the water treatment system.
- Knows the working principle of A-V fistula and makes A-V fistula care of hemodialysis patients.
