1 To acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge about mathematics, science and basic engineering. 2 To have the ability to interpret and evaluate data, identify problems, analyze and develop evidence-based solutions by using the basic knowledge and skills in the field. 3 To be able to select and use modern techniques, tools and information technologies required for applications related to the field. 4 To gain the ability to use computer software and hardware at the basic level required by the field. 5 Gaining application skills by examining the relevant processes in the industry and service sector on site. 6 To have job security, worker health, environmental protection knowledge and quality awareness. 7 To have a sense of social responsibility, universal, social and professional ethics that respect historical values. 8 To be able to design using technical drawing, computer aided drawing, simulation programs, and to select systems and components related to the field, to make basic sizing calculations, to draw professional plans and projects. 9 Gaining the ability to produce solutions, take responsibility in teams or do individual work when faced with unforeseen situations in applications related to the field. 10 Having effective knowledge of communication techniques and having a foreign language level to follow the innovations in the field. 11 Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning; To follow the developments in science and technology and gain the consciousness of continuous renewal.

Each student must have attended at least 70% of the lessons and at least 80% of the practices in order to register for the courses at the beginning of the term and to enter the final exam. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from the measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz, etc. as midterm grade can also be taken into consideration) to the success grade is 50% and the contribution of the final exam is 50%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to get at least 30 points from the final exam. Students who get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC letter grades from a course are considered successful from that course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for a student to be successful in a course with DC or DD grades, his / her general grade point average must be at least 2.0.

Within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Institution (YÖK), student admissions to this program are made by the examination system made by the Student Selection and Placement (ÖSYS) Center.

Students who graduate from the interior design area will be able to find jobs in the following areas. 1. In companies, public institutions and organizations that provide or need interior and furniture technology services, 2.In businesses producing furniture and interior design, 3.Design offices and offices, 4. They will be able to find and be employed in working areas that will provide the space design of all areas where people exist, 5. In our Sakarya University, the 3 + 1 system that will enable our students to practice full time in their workplaces in one semester will also make it easier for our students to find a job.
